Incoming Club President Bob Hull was recogninzed for his dedicated service to the town libraries and to the club. He received the award from Outgoing Club President Hope Looney.

The Paul Harris Fellowship is awarded to a  person who has made a significant contribution to the community and has demonstrated high moral character and is intended to inspire the individual to continue to be exceptional in their field. The award is voted on by past winners from the North Branford Rotary Club and includes a $1000 donation to The Rotary Foundation (http://www.rotary.org/en/aboutus/therotaryfoundation/Pages/ridefault.aspx) in the award winner's name.

Alyssa was recoginized for her initiative and drive in establishing the North Branford High School Interact Club, leading it as a President for 2 years, and for motivatiing her fellow students in serving the community.  It is rare that this award is given to someone from the community, and even rarer to someone so young. Through her actions, Alyssa has set a high bar for all those who follow in her footsteps. Raised in a single-parent household, Alyssa is a testament to the values and dedication of  her mother, Geri McSherry. It is hoped that this award will continue to motivate her to aspire to even higher accomplishments in the years ahead.

Bob was recognized for his steadfast dedication to the town and the North Branford Rotary Club. In his own inimitable way he has overseen the opening of two state-of -the-art libraries in our town. In a time of urgent need, he stepped up to the plate to take on the reins of the Club. He has consistently exemplified quiet and effective leadership.
