International Service Committee

The North Branford Rotary Club actively supports several international projects that promote life and health. These include:

• The Denan Water Pipeline providing water to an arid area of Ethiopia.
  Water is the fundamental basis for life. This project is literally making it possible for people to live and sustain life. For more information, please visit the Denan Project website from the link on our home page.
• Clean Water in India
  Having water that is safe to use is essential for a healthy and fulfilling life. This project donates biosand filters to families, the core of social structure in India. Each filter costs $25 and provides enough water to cook, clean and bathe for a family of 15 for 20 years. • Polio Plus
  Did you know that polio has be eradicated from all the countries in the world except four? This effort was spearheaded by Rotary International with the support from clubs like ours. For more information, please visit the PolioPlus link from our home page.
